Proud
member of the Shaolin Chuan Fa Martial Arts Association On
behalf to Shaolin Chuan Fa Martial Arts Association (CFMA ) welcome to our web site. Shaolin Chuan
Fa Martial Arts Association of Orange Park is an affiliate member of CFMA which is located in Gulf Breeze, Florida. CFMA of Orange Park is a small Kenpo and Tai Chi program that promotes traditionalism, honor, and mandates in
martial arts. Currently located off of Argyle Forest Blvd CFMA offers mid-day training sessions for students that are
older than 15 years of age. Since CFMA promotes education and holds classes mid-day the association
will not train any one of school age during the public school season.
With out education all is
lost.
Shaolin Chuan Fa Martial Arts Association of Orange Park, Florida, is
a martial art program that is a direct descendant from the style developed by Dr. Dennis Fitch, Soke. The lineage
is rich in Kenpo and Tai Chi; furthermore, the style promotes both the external aspect of martial arts, and internal
aspect of martial arts. Often these aspects are refered to as "soft and hard". What the program offers
is more than a martial art, it is a way of life. To
quote Dr. Fitch, "Chuan Fa is a vision of human potential that serves us as a tool in these violent and sometimes
desperate modern times. Whether using your art for commercial and financial success or for physical and philosophical
development, the real value is found within the association which is to blend, harmonize, and manifest a complimentary group
that works for everyone." To learn more about CFMA of Orange
Park please read the HISTORY page
Currently the Orange Park Kwoon (school) of Shaolin Chuan Fa is teaching
only small group sessions on Mon, Tues, Weds. Due to the nature of training in Chuan Fa martial
arts of Orange Park, CFMA is not currently training anyone under the age of 15.

Above is the Chinese calligraphy that when is literally translated means "heart".
As with most Asian calligraphic symbols there are multiple meanings. The above symbol also represents the Hsing.
This symbol is known to represent the three primary realms: the body, the mind, and the spirit. CFMA holds this symbol
in very high regard and with great respect

Above is the CFMA patch and as with most traditional styles our patch has significant
meaning behind the design. The outer triangle shows the three points of primary virtue: wisdom, benevolence, and valor.
The inner triangle represents the connection between body, mind, and spirit. The completion of the three is also known
as the Hsing which are noted flanking the Yin Yang symbol. The Yin Yang, of course, represents natures search for balance.
The Chinese calligraphy on the left is known to represent Chuan Fa (Fist law). It in a deeper translated meaning means
"Clasp the hand of Dharma". The Chinese calligraphery on the right translates into "Tis the presence
of the dragon that imparts the sacred spirit" and "Tis the presence virtue when one truly becomes rich"
In the center of the patch is the dragon; it is our associations outward symbol for the whole of the patch
